8 of the Best COD: Mobile Sniping Spots on the Blackout Battle Royale Map

Blackout, the first battle royale map in the Call of Duty series, has been a part of COD: Mobile for a few years. It is a battle royale map filled with iconic multiplayer locations from Black Ops, such as Firing Range, Array, and Nuketown Island. Blackout features wide-open terrain and tall buildings, making it well-suited for sniping. These are the best COD: Mobile sniping spots for executing long-range kills on the Blackout battle royale map.

Fracking Tower

Fracking Tower is one of the most prominent locations on the Blackout map that includes many trailer offices, silos, and a large tower for hydraulic fracturing. The large tower here is one of the highest structures on the map, which makes it one of the most appealing COD: Mobile sniping spots you’ll ever see. Climbing that tower’s stairs to its elevated platform provides a fine view for sniping players within the Fracking Tower area and the surrounding landscapes beyond it.

If you want super elevation for sniping from the Fracking Tower, equip yourself with the Airborne class before a match starts. Then, you can utilize Airborne to propel you up to the very top of this tower, which is somewhat higher than its more accessible lower platform. The very top of the Fracking Tower provides a stunning view for sniping.

Construction Site

The Construction Site location is an unfinished seaside skyscraper in the northwestern corner of Blackout. This large construction complex is clearly the highest man-made structure from which to engage in COD: Mobile sniping. The higher parts of the Construction Site provide a spectacular view of large swathes of the map from which to spot and pick off players.

In fact, some players might find the very top of Construction Site a little too high for sniping. However, Construction Site is also very flexible with multiple layers and positions to snipe from. You can go to lower levels on the Construction Site to reduce your height for sniping, which will make it easier to hit targets spotted.

Cargo Docks

Cargo Docks is the most prominent coastal location on Blackout, which is along the river opening. That dock area includes two high gantry cranes that are ideal structures to stand on for sniping players in and around the location. The crane closest to the riverside is better for COD: Mobile sniping because it provides a less obstructed view of the surrounding landscapes and river embankments.

Cargo Docks also has other high structures that provide good sniping vantage points. For example, you can see a lot by standing atop the bridge deck of the large cargo ship adjacent to the gantry cranes. A high, circular structure in the center of the dock, which you can get on top of by utilizing Airborne or Ninja Crane, also provides another good viewing point to shoot down at players.

Lighthouse

Lighthouse is on the opposite side of the river to Cargo Docks. That location, as its name suggests, features a lighthouse you can climb up. Standing on the platforms near the top of the lighthouse provides a good view of the landscape around the south side of the primary bridge crossing point. It’s a good position for targeting and sniping players trying to cross over the river from the south side of Blackout. However, the gantry crane in Cargo Docks is probably a better position from which to snipe players along the northern side of the river’s embankment.

The High Hill Near Rivertown

Rivertown is on an island connected by several bridges close to the approximate center of Blackout. The high hill area circled in the screenshot below, just north of Rivertown, is some of the best elevated landscape for COD: Mobile sniping on Blackout. What I like about this sniper spot is that it offers a good view of three bridge crossing points from which to target players. It also provides a great view of the landscape area between the Train Station and the Firing Range from one side.

Factory’s Western Tower

The Factory location along the south side of the river includes some tall buildings and a tower structure with three levels. The tower structure on the southern side of the Factory area (shown in the screenshot below) is a good Call of Duty: Sniping spot from which to inflict damage. Although not the highest sniping spot, it still provides a decent view of the surrounding desert terrain south of the Factory area. It also offers an ideal view of the nearest river breach players will cross over to reach Factory.

Hydro Dam

Hydro Dam is a large and very elevated location in the northeast corner of the map. When you stand along the top of that dam, you’ll have a great sniping view of the frozen river area beneath it. The eastern side of this dam also provides an expansive view of the snow and desert terrain to the south. This dam’s more expansive scale makes it a flexible area for sniping, as you can take up numerous positions along it. Or you can snipe down players along the dam from some distance away because of its width.

The Mountain North of the Train Station

To the north of the Train Station, there is an elevated natural landscape that’s like a snowy mountain. Walk to the summit of the mountain area highlighted in the snapshot below for a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape beneath you. From there, you can snipe down players crossing the river bridge to the east. Alternatively, look more directly south for players scurrying through the surrounding landscape around the Train Station.

So, don’t forget to grab a sniper rifle for some Call of Duty: Mobile sniping on the Blackout map. The best sniper spots discussed above offer ideal vantage points for serious sniping action in Blackout. Accomplished snipers will love the views of Blackout they’ll see from those sniper locations.
