8 Call of Duty: Mobile Tips and Tricks for Domination Matches

Domination is one of the multiplayer modes in Call of Duty: Mobile. It is a mode in which two teams fight for domination of three scoring circles. The teams that amass the most points by holding more control points for longer win the matches. Domination is a fast and furious game mode in which you must regularly attack, capture, and defend control points to emerge victorious. Here are some Call of Duty: Mobile tips and tricks for the Domination game mode.

Equip a Submachine Gun

The Call of Duty: Mobile Domination mode is one in which you usually fight enemies at close quarters in and around control points. Speed and mobility are also equally important for rushing between control points. So, it’s best to equip submachine guns for Domination matches because they’re more lightweight weapons (enabling faster movement speed), better suited to close-quarter gunfights with higher firing rates.

I recommend equipping the RUS-79 for Domination matches, which is a versatile SMG with strong performance. However, the VMP and Fennec are also good choices for close-range gunfight dominance. Whatever SMG you equip, you should prioritize mobility when adding loadout attachments to it.

Focus on Holding Two Flags

Although there are three control point flags, capturing and holding two of them for prolonged periods is sufficient for securing Domination victories. Capturing three flags can actually result in loss of map control because enemy spawns will become unpredictable, leaving your team more exposed to flanking. So, it’s best to focus on capturing and defending two control points, more specifically, the one where your team spawns and B. Capturing and holding the middle B control point is often crucial to winning COD Mobile Domination matches.

Use Smokes for Capturing Points

Smoke grenades can come in handy for capturing control points during COD: Mobile Domination matches. Chuck a grenade at a control point just before you walk over it to capture. Then, enemies won’t be able to see you standing on the circle in the smoke cloud, which will make it harder for them to shoot you down when capturing.

Secure Captures Points With Transform Shield

Transform Shield is an operator skill that can also come in handy for capturing control points in Domination mode when equipped. When trying to capture a control point, activate Transform Shield. That shield will give you cover from enemies shooting at you when standing in the control point circle. It can be even more effective when combined with smoke grenades.

Destroy Incoming Grenades With Trophy System

Players often chuck grenades at control point circles during Call of Duty: Mobile Domination matches. You can protect yourself from grenades better by equipping the Trophy System. Trophy System is tactical equipment that can destroy two incoming grenades or scorestreaks when deployed. So, try placing Trophy Systems on control points to save you from grenades when capturing them.

Equip Cluster Strike and Predator Missile

Cluster Strike and Predator Missile are two good scorestreaks to equip and utilize for COD: Mobile Domination matches. They’re good for Domination mode because you can activate them to fire missiles down on enemies when they try to take capture points. Both enable you to select target areas to strike at, which can come in handy for killing enemies when defending or attacking control points.

Defend Points With Sentry Guns

The Sentry Gun scorestreak is an automated machine gun turret that fires at enemies who approach it. That’s an ideal scorestreak to equip for defending control points in COD: Mobile Domination matches. Try placing a Sentry Gun on (or near to) any control point your team holds when you can. Then, laugh out loud as your Sentry Gun mows down enemies who try to take the control point you placed it on.

Equip the Best Perks for Domination Mode

Equipping the best perks for Domination will enable you to capture and defend control points better. However, what are the best perks for that mode? That’s a good question, and these are the best perks to equip for Domination matches:

  • Flack Jacket
  • Quick Fix
  • Lightweight
  • Hardline

Flack Jacket is THE best perk for Domination because it reduces grenade damage inflicted on you by 35%, which is crucial for a game mode in which players often throw grenades at control points. The Lightweight perk enhances your running speed, enabling you to move between control points quickly. Quick Fix is invaluable for contesting control points because it regenerates some health after kills and seizing objectives. The Hardline perk is also a good one for COD: Mobile because it grants 25% extra scorestreak points for kills, making it easier to activate scorestreaks in Domination.

I hope those Call of Duty Mobile tips and tricks help you win more Domination matches. Remember that holding more control points, not killing more enemies, is what wins Domination matches. So, optimize your loadout for Domination by equipping scorestreaks, perks, weaponry, and tactical gear that will help you capture and hold control points.
