I'm a competitive gamer turned filthy casual. Over the last few years I’ve gone from auto canceling for maximum damage in League of Legends to eating Ramen noodles while I snap pics of Pikachu eating a Fluffruit … and I couldn’t be happier!
Nowadays you’re likely to find me sitting in my recliner, Switch in hand, hunting down Magnamalo in Monster Hunter while some anime plays in the background.
Dwarf. Pirate. As opposed to Elf or Ninja. Fan of digging holes, and games involving pillaging, plundering, digging holes, and burying your treasure in said holes. ARR!
Video game lover since I was introduced to them by my big brother, I grew up playing mainly Nintendo classics. I also went through an intense period of Guild Wars 2 from 22 to 25 and remember it as one of the best video game experience I've ever had.
These days I mainly focus on Legends of Runeterra, and more specifically I specialize in the analysis of splash arts, although I also play the game a lot. Occasionally I will also brutally defeat anyone who dares to challenge me at Mario Kart 8 on Nintendo Switch.
Social Media Luddite. Loves his cats, board games, d&d, and video games.
Streaming on Twitch by moonlight, crocheting dice bags by daylight. I was first introduced to gaming through the enchanting world of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Ever since then I have held a love for all things magical and adventurous. Now, you can find me playing anything from the wonderful salt mines of League of Legends to the beautiful landscapes of Final Fantasy XIV.
Ninja Gaiden was my rite of passage at an early age. After finally beating that game (and narrowly dodging carpal tunnel) I decided to write about my gaming exploits.
These days I enjoy roguelikes and anything Pokemon but I'll always dust off Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country and StarFox 64 from time to time to bask in their glory.
Retbit is an independent online publication forged with one prevailing notion: a love of video games, past, present and future.
