How to See the Different AC Odyssey Endings in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a big game with three story questlines and many more side quests to boot. The family questline is the primary story you must complete first, but after that, you can finish off the Cult of Kosmos and seal the gateway to Atlantis. There are 12 different endings you can see in AC Odyssey, most of which are for the family questline. This is how you can see all the different AC Odyssey endings in the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey game.

The Different Family Questline Endings

The family questline is the one that has nine different endings you can see. What ending you see depends on the dialogue choices you select at crucial moments in the game. The happiest (best) ending to see is when you save all of the Eagle Bearer’s family. The worst is the opposite of that, with numerous variable endings in between the two.

To see the happiest ending, you must avert getting into scraps with the Eagle Bearer’s family: Deimos, Nikolaos, Myrinne, and Stentor. That starts when you meet up with Nikolaos in the “The Wolf of Sparta” quest. Select the “I’ve come to get answers” dialogue option (rather than seek revenge) to spare him.

If you spare Nikolaos, you’ll meet up with him again in chapter 7. Select the “Go to him” option to convince Nikoloas to return to Stentor. Then, Nikolaos will break up a potential scrap between the Eagle Bearer and Stentor.

In chapter 9, the Eagle Bearer and Myrinne confront Deimos. Select the “I don’t want to fight you” dialogue option during the “Where It All Began” to save Deimos and Myrinne.

Other dialogue options impact the final ending you see in AC Odyssey. You can select those dialog options in the “Catching up,” “Battle of Pylos,” and “Doing Time” quests. To see the best ending, select these dialogue options during those quests:

  • We’ll get her [him] back.
  • Hold on
  • It was the Cult’s fault.”
  • The Cult is using you.
  • The Cult wants to destroy our family.

To see all the alternative endings, select the opposite dialogue options to those above. For example, select the “I’ve come to take my revenge” option when you meet up with Nikolaos. Or select the “You won’t leave the mountain alive” when you meet up with Demios.

In “Catching up,” not promising to save Deimos from the cult will alter the ending. Then, failing to convince Deimos that the cult is not his/her enemy in “Doing Time” also affects the ending. So, select different dialogue choices from those required for the happiest ending to see alternative end sequences to the family questline.

The Atlantis Ending

The Atlantis AC Odyssey ending is the conclusion to the Gateway to Atlantis questline in the game. To see that ending, you must find the four mythical creatures holding the Atlantic artifacts. Our guide to finding the mythical creatures tells you how players can recover the four artifacts required for sealing Atlantis.

When you’ve retrieved the four Atlantis artifacts, go back to Thera to have a word with Pythagoras. Then, you can complete the final quest for sealing the gateway to Atlantis. Thereafter, you can also complete a “Heir of Memories” questline to enter Atlantis, which is a prelude to the “Fate of Atlantis” DLC. Purchasing and completing the “Fate of Atlantis” DLC will enable you to see another of the AC Odyssey endings beyond the base game.

The Cult of Kosmos Ending

Of course, the Eagle Bearer also has unfinished business with the Cult of Kosmos after completing the family questline. To see the Cult of Kosmos AC Odyssey ending, you must find and kill all the remaining cultists. Finding all the cultists can be time-consuming, but you can find them much faster by using this AC Odyssey interactive map. Select the Cultist option to reveal the locations of the cultists. When you’ve eliminated all the required cultists, you can complete the concluding quest for the cultist questline that reveals who the Kosmos leader is.

The Korfu Ending

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey includes a freely available Korfu DLC questline. To start that questline, it’s best to complete the family, Atlantis, and Cult of Kosmos questlines first. Then, go and speak to the Cruise Barker at the port in Sami, Kephallonia, to start “The Great Escape.” Starting that quest sends you to Korfu, where you can complete a new questline to see another of the AC Odyssey endings.

With so many different AC Odyssey endings to see, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will last you a long time. First, complete the family, Atlantis, and Cult of Kosmos questlines in the base game. Then, you can replay the family questline nine times to see all the different AC Odyssey endings!
