Hi, what are you looking for?

Moving Out: Frantic, couch co-op game for up to four players launches today

If you’ve ever been through the moving process you know that it can be nerve-wracking, full of tension and physically taxing. Did you pack everything you needed (like your wife’s closet full of shoes) or overpack? Will the furniture fit through the doors? Was the moving truck filled with gas before it arrived to pick everything up? Pretty understandable reasons why people don’t look forward to moving.

But can all of those frustrations be sublimated into a humorous, stress-relieving cooperative video game? Moving Out, a frantic, couch co-op game for up to for players from developer Team17 Digital Ltd. seeks to answer that very question.

Moving Out puts players in the career path of a F.A.R.T! (Furniture Arrangement Relocation Technician), furniture movers tasked with relocating furnishings in increasingly bizarre locales in the busy town of Packmore. “Smooth Moves may not be the biggest moving company, but there’s no task too dangerous or strange for this busy team of go-getters. Grow your business to brave new heights, recruit colourful customisable characters, and save your town from furniture peril!”

Ninja Gaiden was my rite of passage at an early age. After finally beating that game (and narrowly dodging carpal tunnel) I decided to write about my gaming exploits. These days I enjoy roguelikes and anything Pokemon but I'll always dust off Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country and StarFox 64 from time to time to bask in their glory.
