8 Beginner Tips for Call of Duty: Mobile Team Deathmatch Matches

Call of Duty: Mobile has numerous game modes, but many players will probably agree that Team Deathmatch is the best of them. Team Deathmatch is an enthralling five vs five fight to reach 50 kills (or 40 at lower ranks). Killing is the only victory condition in this COD: Mobile game mode. Here are some tips for raising your game in the Call of Duty: Mobile Team Deathmatch mode.

Focus on Your K/D Ratio Rather Than Kill Total

The outcome of any Team Deathmatch contest is determined by your team’s overall kill/death ratio. Your kill/death (K/D) is the number of kills you inflict divided by how many times you get killed. This kill/death ratio is more important than how many kills you amass. For example, it’s better to have a 5/2 (2.5) K/D ratio than a 10/15 (0.66) one. So, don’t forget it’s just as important to minimize how many kills your opponents inflict on you when playing Team Deathmatch. You don’t help your teams win matches with K/D ratios less than 1.0, irrespective of how many kills you amass.

Aim Down Sights for Better Accuracy

Aiming down sights when shooting is the best way to enhance your shot accuracy in Call of Duty: Mobile Team Deathmatch (and other modes). That’s especially the case when you add an optic sight like a Red Dot to your gun for ADS enhancement. Using ADS certainly works better for mid to long-range shooting, because it reduces weapon spread and enables you to see targets more clearly. So, get into the habit of aiming down sights from mid-distances during Team Deathmatch. You can automatically utilize ADS for all your shooting by selecting the 1-tap ADS option.

Shoot From Cover Positions

Try to avoid running out into and shooting from open spaces while playing Team Deathmatch in Call of Duty: Mobile. Instead, stand near walls (ideally windows in buildings), crates, or other forms of cover you can move behind after taking some hits from the enemy. Then, you can move behind the cover and wait for your health to automatically replenish from return fire after shooting at targets.

Equip the Flak Jacket, Vulture, and Dead Silence Perks

Flak Jacket, Vulture, and Dead Silence are three of the best perks to equip for Call of Duty: Mobile Team Deathmatch. Vulture is important because equipping it enables you to fully replenish depleted ammunition by collecting leftovers from downed opponents. Dead Silence will eliminate your footstep sounds, making it impossible for opponents to hear you when approaching them. Flak Jacket is one of the best perks in Call of Duty: Mobile because it reduces grenade damage inflicted on you by 35%, making it harder for opponents to kill you with grenades.

Equip a Low, Mid, and High-Tier Scorestreak

Although the high-tier scorestreaks are the best, they’re also the hardest to activate during matches. I recommend equipping a balanced low-, mid, and high-tier scorestreak set for your matches. Equipping one useful low-tier one, such as a UAV, will give you a scorestreak to utilize with some regularity. A more accessible mid-tier scorestreak will also give you more options for matches.

Use Assault Rifles

When it comes to gun selection, assault rifles usually work best for Call of Duty: Mobile Team Deathmatch mode matches. This is because assault rifles are generally the most balanced of guns that are suitable for both shorter and longer-range gunfights. Although sniper rifles are the best for long-range kills, they’re awkward for killing opponents at short distances. Submachine guns have better fire rates, but their limited range makes it harder to kill opponents from longer distances.

So, adding an assault rifle to your Team Deathmatch loadout is recommended. Assault rifles like the Kilo 141, M13, and AK-47 can be very potent guns for this game mode. Although the AK-47 has higher recoil, you can rectify that by adding attachments that enhance the gun’s control and accuracy.

Always Reload After a Kill

Your gun can only fire so many bullets before you need to reload. The few seconds it takes to reload a gun can get you killed when directly engaging opponents from shorter distances. So, get into the habit of always reloading your gun after inflicting kills.

Go Upstairs to Gain an Elevation Advantage

All Call of Duty: Team Deathmatch mode maps have elevated levels you can reach by moving upstairs. Make the most of those higher levels during matches to gain an elevation advantage over your opponents. You can see more of the map and enemies to shoot at when standing at elevated positions, which helps to raise your kill rate. Shooting from elevated positions can also enhance your headshot accuracy because it’s easier to hit heads when firing from above.

I reached Legendary rank by sticking to those tips for the Call of Duty: Mobile Team Deathmatch mode. So, those playing tips might help you climb up the Call of Duty: Mobile multiplayer rankings faster as well. Good luck, and enjoy the Team Deathmatch mayhem!
