Counter-Strike 2 is a first-person shooter in which fast and accurate shooting is crucial for winning Bomb Defusal matches. With that in mind, the CS2 community has created many aim training maps for players to practice aiming and shooting. The aim-training Workshop maps include moving targets to shoot at and a variety of customizable practice modes designed to help players refine their aiming. These are some of the best aim-training maps in Counter-Strike 2 to check out.
CS2 Aim
CS2 Aim is a feature-rich aim training map that enables players to practice shooting at moving bot targets at variable distances with all guns in the game. What I like about this aim-training map is that it includes a good number of bot settings for configuring how the targets move and respawn. You can select four strafing, six miscellaneous, four spawn, and additional user settings on this aim-training map. Overall, CS2 Aim is a good training ground for shooting at fast-moving bots, practicing headshots, and trying out different weaponry.
Aim Botz
The Aim Botz CS2 aim-training map places you inside a 360° arena where you can shoot at moving bots from different angles. It’s a versatile map in which you can reconfigure numerous bot movements, spawn, map, weapon, and bullet settings. There are 16 options for customizing the bots’ movement and behavior, along with six more for adding map obstacles. Plus, it enables you to play 100-kill Aim Botz challenges for shooting down 100 bots as quickly as you can.
Duck Hunt – Aim Training
If you want to play an aim-training map with a fun novelty, look no further than Duck Hunt – Aim Training. This is an aim-training map based on the 1984 Duck Hunter light shooter gun for the NES. It includes moving duck targets, rather than bots, for players to blast out of the sky within a 360° shooting arena.
Duck Hunt – Aim Training has a Practice Mode and a Challenge Mode for shooting ducks. The Practice Mode enables unlimited shooting training with six customizable settings for changing the weather conditions and switching between night and day. You can also play Challenge Mode to quickly shoot down ducks within time limits and clock up a higher score.
CSStats Training Map
CSStats is one of the most popular CS2 aim-training maps, rated 5/5 by about 30,000 players. This training map is among the best because of its diversity of warmup modes (Range, Rush, Shuffle, and Spray) for shooting bots under different conditions. It also features five additional challenge modes, such as Speed, Trial, KZ, Bhop, and Prefire. The Speed challenge is particularly good for practicing reflex shooting at targets that quickly appear and disappear.
Aim Rush – Aim Training
Aim Rush – Aim Training enables you to practice shooting against bots that can kill you within four alternative arenas. This might not sound much different from standard bot practice. However, the bots in this training map are much tougher and sharper than those you can play on standard maps, which makes for better practice. You can fight up to five bots in smaller arenas better designed for aim training. This is a good warmup map for bot fighting and aim training before competitive matches.
Recoil Master – Spray Training
Recoil is the backward momentum (or kickback) of a gun fired, and this CS2 community map can help you get to grips with it for better shot accuracy. Recoil Master is more of a spray training map than a target one that shows you ghosthair spray patterns for countering gun recoil. Shooting along the red ghosthair dots on the wall in this training map enables you to practice recoil control, which enhances shot accuracy.
This map doesn’t feature many targets beyond a static red circle on a wall. However, you can select a Dummy Target option to add a terrorist target. Then, shoot the movement option for the dummy to practice recoil control against a moving target.
Fruit Ninja – Aim Training
Fruit Ninja is one of the most fun Counter-Strike 2 aim-training maps. It’s a map based on the Fruit Ninja game, in which players slash fruits to amass a higher score. You can blast away moving fruits with Counter-Strike 2 guns on Fruit Ninja – Aim Training rather than slicing them.
This CS2 map features Classic, Practice, and 360° modes for you to play on. The Practice mode enables you to freely shoot at randomly tossed fruits, which is good for reflex training. Classic mode is more like the Fruit Ninja game, in which you can lose lives for missing targets. Or play the 360° mode to shoot down fruits around you within a 360° arena.
