9 Tips for Call of Duty: Mobile Sniping in Battle Royale

Call of Duty: Mobile’s battle royale maps, Isolated and Blackout, are very suitable for sniping. Those maps feature lots of high structures and elevated terrain from which to snipe enemies. Thus, accomplished snipers can flourish on the Isolated and Blackout battle royale maps. Here are some tips for Call of Duty: Mobile sniping in the battle royale game mode.

Add a Sniper Rifle to Your Battle Royale Loadout

First, make sure you add a sniper rifle to your custom battle royale loadout. You can add numerous customized guns to your loadout for battle royale. Then, you can pick up your customized sniper rifle from airdropped loadout crates during matches. Thus, adding a sniper rifle to your loadout pretty much ensures you can also find one to pick up in battle royale mode.

Grab a Vehicle to Ride

Vehicles can come in handy for sniping because they enable you to get around the map quickly. When the safe zone starts closing in your sniping location, jump in a vehicle and drive to another decent sniper spot. Furthermore, vehicles will enable you to reach crates faster. So, grab a vehicle so you can reach your favorite sniping spots faster.

Look for the Thermal Exotic Arctic .50 in Airdropped Crates

The Mythic Arctic .50 is a strong rifle for Call of Duty: Mobile sniping primarily because of its cool thermal vision feature and high damage. That thermal vision highlights enemies, which makes it somewhat easier to spot and eliminate potential targets. However, you can only pick up that sniper rifle from green airdropped crates. So, have a look through some green crates to find the Thermal Exotic Arctic .50 for your Call of Duty: Mobile sniping.

Select a Class That’s Handy for Sniping

There are various classes you can select for Battle Royale matches, so pick one that’s better for sniping. Airborne is one of the best classes because ot gives snipers unmatched mobility. The Airborne class enables you to propel yourself high into the air and glide down during battle royale matches. With that class, you can quickly and easily reach most, if not all, the highest points on the map for sniping purposes.

Ninja is an alternative class that’s also handy for Call of Duty: Mobile sniping. That class enables you to utilize a grappling hook device with which to grapple on things. You can utilize the grappling to get on top of building roofs for sniping.

Tracker can also be useful for Call of Duty: Mobile because it highlights nearby enemies on your radar with red dots. Thus, utilizing that class can help you spot potential sniping targets that are nearer to you. It can also highlight any enemy that might be closing in to take you out.

View the Isolated Map’s Contour Lines to Find Elevated Terrain

The Isolated map includes contour lines that highlight the elevation of natural terrain. Those maps clearly show you where the highest terrain on the map is for Call of Duty: Mobile sniping. So, have a good look at the Isolated map to identify where the most elevated terrain is for sniping. However, note that the Blackout map doesn’t include contour lines, which makes Isolated better for sniping in that respect.

Check Out the Sniping Spots in Named Locations

Both the Isolated and Blackout maps have some very high manmade structures in the form of towers and cranes. The highest structures are some of the best spots for Call of Duty: Mobile sniping. So, head to named locations such as Launch Pad, Dock, Harbor, Construction Site, and Crash Site on the Isolated and Blackout maps to find some of the best sniper spots there. Our Isolated sniper spot guide provides further details for some of those locations.

Aim Slightly Ahead of Moving Enemies

When sniping from a distance, you should aim slightly ahead of moving enemies rather than directly at them. That is because sniper bullets have travel time and don’t immediately hit their targets. The amount you need to lead your shot varies depending on the distance. When sniping from long range, the bullet time is longer. Thus, you’ll need to aim ahead of enemies more the further away you are from them.

Practise Quicksope Sniping and Headshots on the Range

Quickscoping and headshots are crucial to more effective Call of Duty: Mobile sniping. You should set aside some practice time for both on the BR Training Ground. The BR Training Ground is a firing range on which you can add a wide variety of moving bots to practise sniping on. Practise faster scoping and eliminating moving bots from a distance with sniper headshots. You can select the BR Training Ground from the same game mode selection screen that includes battle royale.

Target Players Around Airdropped Crates

Airdropped and loadout crates usually attract players to them. So, they can be the perfect bait for racking up more sniping kills. Find a good sniping position from which you can see a crate. Then, wait for players to approach and look inside the crate to kill them with your sniping rifle.

Buy stations can also make for good sniping bait. Unlike airdropped crates, buy stations are always at the same fixed positions on the map. Thus, you don’t always need to wait for crates to drop when you can snipe players at buy stations.

I hope those Call of Duty: Mobile sniping skills make you a better sniper. Sniping is always fun, and an accomplished sniper will win his/her fair share of battle royale matches in COD: Mobile. So, let your sniper rifle guide you to victory!
