Check out the Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 trailer for a full look at the heroes and villains joining the fray.

The full list of Marvel heroes and villains entering Fortnite in the Nexus War crossover includes Iron Man, Thor, She-Hulk, Groot, Storm, Mystique, Doctor Doom and Wolverine, the latter of whom can be unlocked via his unique challenges which will be unveiled in the upcoming weeks. To unlock the Marvel characters’ unique emotes their challenges will need to be unlocked and the subsequent quests assigned to each completed.

The aforementioned heroes aren’t the first comic book characters to enter the realm of Fortnite. In addition to Deadpool, Fortnite has also played host to Batman, Harley Quinn, the Avengers and Aquaman.

Warning: Spoilers for the Marvel and Fortnite Season 2, Chapter 4 Nexus War crossover ahead.

What would Galactus be without his herald, characters imbued with a fraction of Galactus’ considerable Power Cosmic who seek out new worlds for him to devour? According to a Fortnite Season 2, Chapter 4 leak, none other than the Sentinel of the Spaceways himself, Silver Surfer will be available as an in-game skin, complete with his trademark Silver Surfer’s Surfboard and Herald’s Star special items.

Another secret character who will be made available in the Fortnite x Marvel crossover? King T’Challa of Wakanda, the Black Panther (R.I.P. Chadwick Boseman). The deduction was made by Fortnite dataminer HYPEX, who discovered a special ability in the game’s audio files entitled “Kinetic Absorption,” one of Black Panther’s trademark maneuvers channeled through his Vibranium suit.

The latest Fortnite x Marvel crossover, Nexus War in Fortnite Season 2, Chapter 4, went live on August 27th. Epic Games has issued a statement which confirmed that Fortnite Season 2, Chapter 4 will not be released for the iOS or MacOS due to the ongoing legal issue with Apple.

Ninja Gaiden was my rite of passage at an early age. After finally beating that game (and narrowly dodging carpal tunnel) I decided to write about my gaming exploits. These days I enjoy roguelikes and anything Pokemon but I'll always dust off Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country and StarFox 64 from time to time to bask in their glory.
