Every electric car in Forza Horizon 5 and how to get them


There may still be some years to go before internal combustion engine cars are supplanted by electric vehicles, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been given glimpses of the future both in real life and in Forza Horizon 5.

However, because there is no Electric Vehicle filter in the in-game garage, it can be oftentimes difficult to discern which cars are an electric car in Forza Horizon 5 and which are otherwise in a pinch. That’s why we’ve decided to put together this quick list of every electric car in Forza Horizon 5, as well as the means to obtain them.

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400

Although it seems almost contradictory to drive a vehicle with the Ford Mustang moniker that doesn’t feature a loudly revving engine and exhaust note, those thoughts will probably gallop away when you first buckle into the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400 electric car in Forza Horizon 5 thanks to its 1400 HP, seven electric motors and the ability to generate up to 2204 pounds of downforce at 160 miles per hour. The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400 electric car in Forza Horizon 5 is also a drifting beast thanks to its “unique chassis and powertrain for different layouts, including AWD, RWD and FWD, as well as extreme steering angles for drifting, split power delivery between the front and rear of the car.” As the official Forza Horizon 5 description puts it, “The future of drifting is here.”

To obtain the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400 electric car in Forza Horizon 5, complete the “What’s the Lateral Velocity Kenneth?” accolade, which requires players to complete all six chapters, including the “Drift Club Mexico” chapter of the Drift Club Mexico Story.

2018 Jaguar I-PACE

The first electric car offering from Jaguar is the 2018 Jaguar I-PACE, which features 394 BHP and 513 ft·lb of torque together.

According to the official description from Jaguar, “The high torque density and high-energy efficiency characteristics of the [Jaguar I-PACE’s] motors deliver sports car performance, launching the I-PACE from a standing start to 100km/h in just 4.8 seconds. The instantaneous performance is matched with exceptional ride comfort and engaging driving dynamics.”

The 2018 Jaguar I-PACE electric car in Forza Horizon 5 can be purchased from the Autoshow for 87,000 Credits, obtained as a possible Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin prize, purchased through the Auction House, or obtained through the completion of the “Unbeatable Street Racing” accolade.

2020 Lotus Evija

Lotus’ first foray into the electric car category is the 2020 Lotus Evija, a near 2000 Horsepower and 1254 ft·lb of torque producing hypercar with a whopping 2,500,000 Credit price tag from the Autoshow.

The Lotus Evija electric car in Forza Horizon 5 can also be purchased from the Auction House and was listed in the Series 10 Winter Forzathon Shop for 100 Forzathon Points.

1965 Mini Cooper S Forza Edition

Looking to drive a different type of electric car in Forza Horizon 5? Hop in the 1965 Mini Cooper S Forza Edition, which looks entirely like the classic Mini Cooper S, which was first designed by the British Motor Company in 1959 but has all-wheel drive and of course, an electric engine. The 1965 Mini Cooper S Forza Edition might have a compact frame and be light, at 1,433 pounds, but packs some punch with a base 235 HP.

The 1965 Mini Cooper S Forza Edition electric car in Forza Horizon 5 is considered a “hard to find” car. It can be obtained as a possible Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin prize, bid on through the Auction listings and was listed as a Festival Playlist reward during Series 5.

2016 NIO EP9

The 2016 EP9, from Chinese manufacturer NIO, boasts 1360 HP and according to the official NIO website, the NIO EP9 “has broken multiple records for the Nürburgring Nordschleife, Circuit of the Americas, Shanghai International Circuit, and the Circuit Paul Ricard.”

The NIO EP9 was obtainable through the playlist introduced to the game on February 9th, 2022 and can be bid on in Auction listings.

2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo S (and WP Edition)

The 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo S, abbreviated to the Porsche Taycan S, is Porsche’s first foray into the electric car market following the car’s debut at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The 2020 Porsche Taycan S electric car in Forza Horizon 5 can be obtained through the Autoshow for 185,000 Credits, by completing the “Discovery Connoisseur” accolade, as a potential prize from a Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin or purchased as an Auction House listing.

There is an upgraded model of the 2020 Porsche Taycan S available for purchase via the Forza Horizon 5 “Welcome Pack” bundle.

2019 RAESR Tachyon Speed

The 2019 RAESR Tachyon Speed is an AWD electric hypercar prototype model by automotive startup RAESR, which was founded in Los Angeles, California in 2014.

The RAESR Tachyon Speed electric car in Forza Horizon 5 features a carbon fiber body, a jet fighter-styled design, six direct drive electric motors capable of more than 1250 HP and 3,650 pound-feet of instant torque. At 3198 pounds, the RAESR Tachyon Speed is also one of the lightest electric cars in Forza Horizon 5, and that lightness translates to its other areas of performance, such as a 0-60mph in less than 3 seconds, a quarter mile in less than 10 seconds and a top speed of more than 240 mph.

According to the official RAESR website, the Tachyon Speed has a range of 150 miles between charges in city conditions.

Although the 2019 RAESR Tachyon Speed cannot be obtained from a Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin, it can be bid on in the Auction House and was available as a Festival Playlist reward during the Series 1 (Spring) and Series 10 playlists.

2019 Rimac Concept Two

The 2019 Concept Two is an electric concept hypercar from Croatian car manufacturer Rimac; the car’s four liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous electric motors boast 1914 HP, 1887 bhp, 1695 lb-ft torque and a 0-60mph of 1.85 seconds.

The 2019 Rimac Concept Two electric car in Forza Horizon 5 can be purchased for a hefty 2,000,000 Credits from the Autoshow, can be won as a potential prize from a regular Wheelspin or a Super Wheelspin, bid on through the Auction House and was listed as a Festival Playlist reward in the Series 4 (Autumn) and Series 10 (Summer) series.

Extreme E Odyssey 21 e-SUV


The 2022 Extreme E Odyssey 21 e-SUV is a mid-engine, all-wheel drive off-road electric race car developed by Spark Technology which is used for the Extreme E racing series. They were introduced to Forza Horizon 5 in Series 10.

The following Extreme E Odyssey 21 e-SUVs and their respective liveries are available in Forza Horizon 5:

  • #5 Veloce Racing driven by Christine GZ and Lance Woolridge.
  • #6 Rosberg X Racing driven by Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky and Johan Kristoffersson.
  • #22 JBXE driven by Hedda Hosås and Kevin Hansen.
  • #23 Genesys Andretti United driven by Catie Munnings and Timmy Hansen.
  • #42 XITE Racing Team driven by Tamara Molinaro and Timo Scheider.
  • #44 X44 driven by Cristina Gutiérrez and Sébastien Loeb.
  • #55 ACCIONA | Sainz XE Team driven by Laia Sanz and Carlos Sainz Sr.
  • #58 McLaren Racing driven by Emma Gilmour and Tanner Foust.
  • #99 Chip Ganassi Racing GMC Hummer EV driven by Sara Price and Kyle LeDuc.
  • #125 ABT Cupra XE driven by Jutta Kleinschmidt and Nasser Al-Attiyah.

2021 Audi RS e-tron GT

Developed alongside the Porsche Taycan, the 2021 Audi RS e-tron GT is a sophisticated, elegant electric car offering from the German luxury automotive company which is capable of 440kW (roughly 590 horsepower), which can be augmented to 637 horsepower in overboost mode.

The RS e-tron GT electric car in Forza Horizon 5 could be obtained by earning 80 challenge points during Season 12 but can also be bid on if available as a listing in the Auction House.

2020 Xpeng P7

The 2020 Xpeng P7, is the Guangzhou Xiaopeng Motors Technology Co Ltd’s answer to the Tesla Model 3 in terms of pricing. The P7 boasts 266 HP, rear-wheel drive, a 329 mile range, and a 0-60 speed of 6.9 seconds.

The 2020 Xpeng P7 could be obtained by earning 20 points in the Spring/Hot season of Forza Horizon 5 Season 11. It can also be found in the Auction house listings.

2022 Cupra UrbanRebel Concept

The Cupra UrbanRebel Concept car is an electric vehicle produced by Spanish manufacturer SEAT, under its Cupra sub brand. It was first unveiled at the International Motor Show Germany on September 1st, 2021 and is set to be released in 2025. The UrbanRebel was developed and designed in Barcelona.

According to AutoPlus, the UrbanRebel is “fitted with a continuous 250 kW (340 hp) electric motor, with a boost function to 320 kW (435 hp).”

The 2022 Cupra UrbanRebel was first introduced to Forza Horizon 5 on December 8th, 2022 in the Series 15 Summer, Week 1 update. To obtain the 2022 Cupra UrbanRebel Concept car, be sure to click the preceding link and follow our guide.
