8 Tips for Winning Call of Duty: Mobile Hardpoint Matches

Hardpoint is one of the multiplayer modes you can play in Call of Duty: Mobile. This is a mode in which teams must capture and hold alternative Hardpoints to reach 150 (in non-ranked) or 200 points total. It’s similar to Domination mode, but the Hardpoint locations you must capture and hold change during a match. Hardpoint is a faster, more frantic game mode to play than Search and Destroy and Team Deathmatch. Here are some tips to get you ahead of the game in Call of Duty: Mobile Hardpoint matches.

Increase Your Movement Speed

Speed is more important for Call of Duty: Mobile Hardpoint matches than other multiplayer modes. Faster movement will enable you to reach unoccupied Hardpoints before your opponents more often. One way to increase movement speed in Hardpoint mode is to enable the Always Sprint setting. To do so, tap the Settings menu > Basic and select On for the Always Sprint option within that tab.

However, the best way to increase your movement speed for Call of Duty: Mobile Hardpoint matches is to select a more lightweight gun and optimize it for greater mobility with attachments. Submachine guns and assault rifles are generally the best weapon types for Hardpoint because they typically have the best mobility and fire rates. Such guns are more suitable for Hardpoint matches, where most of the gunfighting typically occurs at shorter ranges, often in and around specific capture points.

Attack Hardpoint Locations With Grenades

Grenades can be more effective in Call of Duty: Hardpoint matches because there are often players standing in and around capture points. Thus, this is one mode for which you should certainly equip an explosive grenade or Molotov. Chuck your grenades at Hardpoints your enemies hold to inflict some damage on them before moving in closer to finish them off.

Equip Flak Jacket

To give yourself better protection from enemy grenades, equip the Flak Jacket perk. Flak Jacket is one of the best perks in Call of Duty: Mobile that I recommend for all game modes. However, the 35% damage reduction from explosions it gives you is all the more important for Call of Duty: Hardpoint matches, where grenade chucking is more prevalent.

Equip Quick Fix

Quick Fix is another of the best perks to have equipped for Call of Duty: Mobile Hardpoint matches. This perk is one of the best because it increases health replenishment speed for players holding objectives. Thus, you’ll health will regenerate faster when holding Hardpoints with this perk equipped. It also triggers small health replenishments for your gun or melee kills inflicted, which is all the better for Hardpoint matches.

If you don’t already have the Quick Fix perk, you can purchase it with credits from the Call of Duty: Mobile store. I obtained it by purchasing a loadout set that included the Quick Fix perk. So, look for a gear set that includes that perk and purchase it with your credits when you can.

Use Sentry Guns For Defending Hardpoints

Sentry Guns are one of the best Scorestreaks you can equip for Call of Duty: Mobile Hardpoint matches. This Scorestreak is a great weapon to have at your disposal for holding capture points. When you’ve activated a Sentry Gun, place the submachine gun on a Hardpoint you’re team is holding and protect it from enemy fire. Then, you can watch in glee as your unmanned submachine gun mows down opponents as they attack the Hardpoint you’re defending.

Try to Use the Available Cover in Hardpoints

Most Hardpoints include some form of cover, such as rocks, chairs, crates, walls, or vehicles. Stand or crouch behind smaller cover inside capture point locations you’re trying to hold when available, especially in more exposed outdoor areas. Using cover in this way will make it harder for enemies to see, hit, and kill you when you’re defending Hardpoints.

Use Storm Balls When Holding Hardpoints

Storm Ball is tactical equipment that’s more useful for Call of Duty: Hardpoint matches than other modes. When you’re defending an outdoor Hardpoint, use a Storm Ball to generate a spherical barrier at that capture point. This barrier will block the line of sight for all enemies outside it, making it almost impossible for them to kill you with their guns because they won’t see you from outside the barrier. Furthermore, opponents who move into the barrier to eliminate you won’t have any health regeneration when inside the spherical area.

Equip Transform Shield For Additional Cover

Although some players might prefer to equip more potent operator skill weapons for attacking, the Transform Shield can be very useful for defending capture points in Hardpoints. This operator skill is a mobile cover you can place in Hardpoints to protect you from enemy fire. Crouch behind the shield to regenerate health when needed. Place Transform Shields in front of Hardpoint entrances (such as doors) to block entry points. I wouldn’t recommend Transform Shield for other multiplayer modes, but it’s a good operator skill to have for holding capture points in Hardpoint.

Call of Duty: Mobile Hardpoint is perhaps the best multiplayer mode to play for players who prefer fast and frantic matches with unrestricted carnage. You can hold and capture Hardpoints more efficiently by following the tips above, which will probably increase your win rate in that multiplayer mode. Good luck, and enjoy the Hardpoint mayhem!
