Looking to level up your Battle Pass but tired of the same old Battle Royale grind? Don’t worry—Fortnite offers a wide variety of creative maps that provide fresh, fun experiences and, most importantly, plenty of XP.
The following list contains the best, most fun Fortnite creative maps for farming XP.
Pet Heroes Adventure
Created by: Shockmaps
Map Code: 8039-8238-9814
Pet Heroes Adventure tops our list of the best Fortnite maps for farming XP, thanks to its clever blend of familiar mechanics and charming design. Drawing inspiration from Pokémon – with over 150 unique collectible creatures and Palworld – where your pets follow you and assist in gathering resources – Pet Heroes Adventure delivers a satisfying gameplay loop centered around exploration, progression and of course – swinging your harvesting tool to mine gold from a variety of architecturally distinct areas.
Pets are hatched from various eggs, which unlock as you advance through different harvesting zones. Early-game companions include calico cats, caramelo dogs, pigs, and cows and escalate in the late-game to lions, tigers, ghosts and aliens. There are even holiday-themed pets from holiday events like jack-o’-lanterns, reindeer and Santa Pigs. All pets are rendered in a colorful, cartoony art style reminiscent of Funko Pop figures, which add a layer of playful charm to the experience.
To break the monotony of repeatedly receiving the same pets from eggs, Pet Heroes Adventure allows players to combine duplicates into more powerful versions. Collecting 10 of the same pet creates a Gold variant, and combining 10 Gold versions results in an even stronger Rainbow form.
That said, be prepared: Pet Heroes Adventure can become quite a grind — especially on the final level, which even with a near-maxed team of 14 pets can take upwards of six hours and cost over 999,999 bits of in-game currency to complete.
Fortunately, all that effort yields substantial rewards. Experience points come generously, often allowing players to level up twice every 30 minutes on average — not including the bonus XP earned from mining with your pickaxe, finding various pet paw tokens scattered across the map and hatching eggs.
For those who like to take breaks in between pocket monster farming and ease the repetition, egg hatching can be set to auto-mode, letting the game handle it while you step away from your console or PC.
If you’re a fan of Pokemon, Palworld, pocket monsters of all kinds and stacking gold, then Pet Heroes Adventure stands out as one of the best, most fun Fortnite creative maps for farming XP.
Simple 1v1 Build Fights
Created by: qrne
Map Code: 0424-6265-8554
The best way to improve at build fighting in Fortnite is through consistent practice and this map delivers exactly that. An hour in Simple 1v1 Build Fights offers roughly as much combat experience as one would get in six hours of Battle Royale, making it ideal for sharpening your skills while also earning XP.
1000 Level Obby Parkour
Created by: iconicgames
Map Code: 2228-5758-0657
There are plenty of obbies – an abbreviation of “obstacle courses” – in Fortnite to choose from and while the goal of an obby doesn’t vary much from obby to obby, the theme and aesthetic does. They’re a simple pleasure, evoking memories of classic platformers like Mario, Sonic, and Crash Bandicoot, with a dash of Wipeout and American Ninja Warrior game show flair mixed – and in addition, they’re great for farming XP.
One of our favorite obbies at the moment is the 1000 Level Obby Parkour by iconicgames. Suspended over water, this 1,000-level obby stretches skyward in seemingly endless fashion, featuring a dizzying array of geometric platforms to climb, winding maze-like tunnels to navigate, and even math-based puzzles to solve.
Easy Scenery Parkour 231+
Created by: Takumac
Map Code: 1722-8081-7958
Parkour maps in Fortnite are a variation of the typical obby, placing greater emphasis on the character’s movement – running, sliding, mantling, and avoiding traps within a time limit.
Just like obbies, there are plenty of parkour maps to choose from in Fortnite, but the one we’ve been playing the most lately is Easy Scenery Parkour 231+. As the name suggests, it features a visually engaging mix of architecture and scenery (231+ levels) to enjoy as you mantle over walls, tread winding balance beams (sometimes while dodging cannonball fire after sprinting across the tiled-roof of a feudal Japanese-styled building), slip-slide across icy patches, dodge electrified cylinders, and avoid triggering spike traps.
Valhalla 2: Boss Fight
Created by: Bifrost
Map Code: 5652-8758-6723
Want to battle a wide range of unique zombies— ice-bodied, fire-slinging, toxic-exploding, hulking giants, and even Viking berserkers— across a Norse-themed map filled with grassy hills, rugged mountains, and intricate Viking longhouses and fortresses?
And to top it all off, face a towering Jörmungandr-inspired, Midgard serpent in an epic boss fight that triggers every 15 minutes? If that sounds like your kind of challenge, then Valhalla Boss Fights is the Fortnite Creative map for you – it’s every bit as legendary as it sounds.
Lumberjack Heroes
Created by: ItsJacky
Map Code: 7154-1898-4800
If you find something oddly zen about chopping down trees with your harvesting tool in Battle Royale mode, then Lumberjack Tycoon is an easy pick as one of the best, most fun Fortnite creative maps for farming XP.
In Lumberjack Tycoon, players begin as rookie lumberjacks, chopping down low-level trees and gradually working their way through increasingly challenging forests to harvest lumber. The lumber collected can be used to upgrade damage, critical hit rates, and unlock special abilities. Players can also hatch eggs to obtain pets that assist in tree-chopping quests and help take on a variety of formidable bosses.
Zombie Tycoon
Created by: brawlnetwork
Map Code: 7810-6525-1912
Don’t be misled by its seemingly generic name – Zombie Tycoon is more than just a zombie-blasting map. While gunning down hordes of zombies with a wide range of weapons is a big part of the experience, there’s much more to explore, making it one of the most entertaining and effective Fortnite Creative maps for farming XP.
Zombie Tycoon’s biggest strength lies in the variety of ways players can farm XP beyond simply mowing down the undead. You can build and upgrade your own base, using money earned from both slaying zombies and a passive ATM system that generates cash over time. As your base expands—up to six stories high—you can fend off waves of zombies from balconies or the rooftop, turning your fortress into a strategic vantage point.
The map also features five unique timed events that offer generous XP and cash rewards. These include a boss fight against a hulking, boulder-throwing mutant zombie; a towering parkour challenge that climbs higher than a skyscraper; a race track event; and a horde mode arena packed with unique zombie types not found elsewhere in the mode.
You can even step away from your computer or console and head to the game’s designated AFK area — a disco-ball-lit dance floor in the corner of your base where you earn XP by simply rocking your favorite emote.
Poppy City – Boss Fight
Created by: Handerplay
Map Code: 0686-9321-6965
If you’re a Fortnite player with younger or pre-teen kids in the family, the next entry on our list of the best and most fun Fortnite Creative maps for farming XP is likely to be a hit: Poppy City.
As the name suggests, this map is set in a sprawling city filled with police stations, Chinese restaurants, and apartment complexes. While the buildings aren’t enterable, they serve as strategic vantage points or hiding spots from the map’s namesake threats—massive, kaiju-sized bosses from the Poppy’s Playtime series. At timed intervals, characters like Huggy Wuggy, Doey, Yarnaby, Prototype, and Poppy herself are unleashed into the city, turning each round into a tense game of survival. Players must run, hide, and navigate the environment to stay alive, using vehicles, trampolines, and the terrain itself to their advantage.
A wide selection of weapons—from nearly every chapter and season of Fortnite, including exotic gear—is available to fight against Poppy and crew. The map’s creator updates the arsenal regularly, even adding special moves like the Jedi Force Push to keep things fresh and action-packed as you fend off the nightmarish menagerie.
While I’ve had the most fun (and the highest XP gains) playing Poppy City on a private server with my kids, the map becomes even more chaotic (and potentially more rewarding) on a public server. There, you won’t just be dodging Poppy and her monstrous friends – you’ll also have to fend off other players. Will you form uneasy alliances to take down the towering threats together? Or will you betray your teammates at the last second, shotgunning them in the back just before they land the final blow on Mommy Long Legs? The choice, albeit a difficult one, is yours. But choosing to play Poppy City – for both fun and XP – is a no-brainer.
Bot Royale
Created by: Vulpp
Map Code: 7808-8734-4407
While it won’t replicate the intensity of facing real players, 99 Bots Ranked offers a great way to practice when you need a break from relentless sweats. It’s perfect for chilling and racking up kills with a younger family member or a friend who’s new to the game and lets you all gain experience in a more relaxed setting.
Bot Royale features a more compact map than what you’d typically encounter during the regular season, but it still offers plenty of variety. Expect a variety of terrain, from grassy hills and tree-lined mountain peaks to sandy shorelines, along with diverse structures like gas stations, lighthouses, windmills, and smokestack-capped factories. You’ll also spot nostalgic landmarks inspired by fan-favorite locations—like a replica of Tilted Towers’ iconic clocktower or a knock-off Durr Burger reminiscent of Greasy Grove.
These elements make for dynamic and engaging firefights, even if the bots themselves aren’t the toughest opponents. What they lack in skill, they make up for in numbers, and since they don’t attack each other it’s just you against the bots – ensuring non-stop action throughout each match.
Bot Royale even mimics the full pregame experience, complete with a lobby while bots spawn, the signature Battle Bus drop, tightening Storm circles, and the satisfying “Victory Royale” screen when you win. If you want a more relaxed, low-pressure take on the normal Battle Royale mode that you can run with non-sweaty family and friends while garnering experience at the same team, Bot Royale is for you.
99 Bots Ranked

Map Code: 1466-3852-9373
If you’re looking for more of a challenge than the previous entry, 99 Bots Ranked delivers fast-paced action by pitting you against not only waves of bots but also other players.
The intensity never lets up—bots continuously respawn, keeping you in constant gunfights, while supply drops randomly land across the map, offering mythic weapons like Slone’s Striker Burst Rifle and Midas’ Drum Gun to keep the action fresh and chaotic.
Need a breather? The starting platform features an AFK slide rail that grants generous XP, perfect for taking a break while still earning rewards.

Ninja Gaiden was my rite of passage at an early age. After finally beating that game (and narrowly dodging carpal tunnel) I decided to write about my gaming exploits. These days I enjoy roguelikes and anything Pokemon but I'll always dust off Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country and StarFox 64 from time to time to bask in their glory.
