Tourism is a statistic in Civilization 6 that represents your nation’s cultural appeal. Increasing tourism attracts more visitors to your civilization, enabling you to secure a cultural victory. To increase tourism, you must establish attractions for tourists to visit in your civilization. Tourists will flock to your civilization when you establish more of the best attractions. These are the best attractions with which to boost Civ 6 tourism in Civilization 6.
Archeology and Art Museums
Archeology and art museums have three slots for artifacts and art. Although literature and music generate slightly more tourism than artifacts and art in the base game, the archeology and art museum have more great work slots. Plus, themed archeology and art museums have doubled tourism. So, full archaeology and art museums will attract many visitors to your civilization, especially when themed.

Culturally Oriented Wonders of the World
All wonders of the world generate some Civ 6 tourism across eras. The more culturally oriented wonders of the world that have additional great works slots can be among the biggest tourist magnets in Civilization 6. These are the best culturally oriented wonders of the world, in which you can add more great works beyond your Theater districts:
- Bolshoi Theater: +2 great works (literature and music)
- Broadway: +3 great works (one for literature and two for music)
- Hermitage: +4 great works (art)
- Sydney Opera: +3 great works (music)

The Presat
The Presat is a unique Temple alternative that players can build when playing as the Khmer (Jayavarman II) civilization. That unique building can generate a whopping +10 tourism in any city with a population of 10 or higher (with Flight researched). The tourism value of a Preset doubles to +20 in a city with a population of 20 or higher. So, the Presat can be a significant tourist magnet in bigger cities, especially when it includes an additional sacred treasure in its relic slot.

National Parks
National Parks are those most beautiful landscape areas of your civilization, like the Grand Canyon in the USA, where you can establish with Naturalists across four tiles with charming (or higher) appeal ratings. A National Park will generate tourism equal to the combined appeal value of all the tiles within it. Thus, the tourism generated by a National Park could amount to between +8 and +16, with breathtaking tiles inside it.

National Parks can be huge tourist magnets when combined with the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower increases the appeal value of all tiles within your civilization by +2. So, the Eiffel Tower will effectively give each National Park in your civilization a +6 tourism boost. With that wonder built, a National Park can potentially generate up to +20 tourism or higher.
Seaside Resorts
Seaside Resorts tile improvements are the best coastal attractions for generating Civ 6 tourism. You can add them to coastal tiles with breathtaking appeal. Like National Parks, Seaside Resorts generate tourism equivalent to their tile appeal. Seaside Resorts don’t generate as much tourism as National Parks because they’re restricted to single tiles. However, the potential +4 to +8 tourism they can potentially generate is still better than most single-tile improvements in Civilization 6.

Another good thing about Seaside Resorts is that they generate gold equal to their tiles’ appeal values. For example, a Seaside Resort on a tile with +6 appeal will generate +6 gold. So, it’s always worth adding Seaside Resorts to some tiles for an economic boost, even if you’re playing for cultural victory.
Ski Resorts
Players with the Gathering Storm Civilization 6 expansion can add Ski Resorts to mountain tiles with Builders when they’ve unlocked the Professional Sports civic. Ski Resorts are among the better attractions for boosting Civ 6 tourism because they’ll typically generate at least +4 tourism based on mountain tiles’ minimum appeal ratings. Although they don’t generate as much tourism as National Parks, it’s much easier to establish more Ski Resorts across many mountain trails.
Furthermore, each Ski Resort generates +1 amenity for the city that includes it. If a city includes three Ski Resorts, for example, they’ll generate +3 amenities for that settlement. So, establishing Ski Resorts is a quick and easy way to increase amenities in cities, which will enhance their general productivity.

Relics
Relics are religious treasures you can obtain by losing Apostles with the Martyr promotion in theological combat. Temples include any relics you obtain within their slots for them. A single relic will generate +8 Civ 6 tourism, which eclipses the tourist value of any great work or artifact.
You can also turbocharge the tourist value of relics by selecting the Reliquaries Follower belief for an established religion. Reliquaries triple the tourism that relics generate, up to +24. The St. Basil’s Cathedral also gives the relics a +8 tourism boost (in the city that includes the wonder). So, a relic can potentially generate a massive +32 tourism when combined with Reliquaries and St. Basil’s Cathedral.
Open-Air Museum
Numerous unique infrastructure improvements generate tourism, and the Open-Air Museum is one of the best. Sweden’s Open-Air Museum generates +2 tourism for each terrain type on which you establish your cities. For example, that museum will generate +6 tourism if there are three cities in your civilization founded on grassland, desert, and snow. With five different terrain types, an Open-Air Museum can generate +10 Civ 6 tourism if you fully exploit its effect. Furthermore, the Open-Air Museum’s tourist generation applies throughout a game because Flight is not a prerequisite technology for it.

Your civilization’s holiday industry will boom with the best Civ 6 tourism attractions above. Archeology and art museums in the Theater Squares are the bread-and-butter attractions for securing cultural victories. However, establish as many Seaside Resorts, National Parks, Ski Resorts, relics, and culturally oriented wonders as you can to propel your civilization to a cultural victory. If you can also play as Sweden or Khmer, do so, because their Presat building and Open-Air Museums attractions are also among the best unique infrastructure in the game for increasing tourism.
