Forza Horizon 5: How to complete the Sendero Speed Trap and Punto De Vista Speed Zone objectives

The exclusive car up for grabs as a prize in this week’s Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist is a Cadillac stretch limousine – but to obtain it, you’ll need to get through two tricky speed-oriented challenges. Here’s how to complete the Sendero Speed Trap and Punto De Vista Speed Zone objectives for this week’s Forza Horizon 5 Series 15 Winter Festival Playlist and cop yourself a Caddy Limo.

How to complete the Sendero Speed Trap objective

One of the objectives for Forza Horizon 5’s Series 15 Winter Festival Playlist is the Sendero Speed Trap, which requires players to reach 160 MPH in any vehicle up to S2 998 rating on said trap.

The car I used to complete the Sendero Speed Trap was the Mosler MT900S with an offroad tune by Sineap.

This tune gives the Mosler an Acceleration, Speed and Launch rating of 10.0, a Braking rating of 9.9, a Handling rating of 9.0 and an Offroad rating of 7.8. It allows the Mosler to hit a top speed of 258 MPH, 0-60 MPH in 2.272 seconds and 1,059 HP on Rally suspension and tire compound.

The easiest method I came across to complete the Sendero Speed Trap was to approach it approximately 1.5 miles from the west (refer to the spot on the map above). This particular spot put me right near the Las Curvas Drift Zone on the map; my starting point was right next to the Ford F-100 Barn Find. This will make the runup for the objective a straight point, but to complete the Sendero Speed Trap you’ll have to hit it at the right angle; when you get about 100 yards away from the Sendero Speed Trap, you’ll see a radio tower – make sure you’re at least 10 yards to the right of it to ensure you hit the Speed Trap in such a way that you complete the objective.

How to complete the Punto De Vista Speed Zone objective

The other speed-oriented objective for this week in the Forza Horizon 5 Series 15 Winter Festival Playlist requires players to hit an average speed of 100 MPH through the Punto De Vista Speed Zone.

For this objective I used the 1998 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK GTR with an offroad tune by KapienPL.

This tune gives the AMG CLK GTR a top speed of 205 MPH, a 0-60 of 2.689s, 1364 HP and 1,119 ft-lb of torque. Don’t be fooled by the tune’s Offroad rating of 4.9 as it had insane grip on the dirt path on which the Punto De Vista Speed Zone lies.

To complete the Punto De Vista Speed Zone objective in this week’s Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist, approach it via the dirt road from the east approximately 900 yards away. This speed zone is pretty straightforward and I was able to follow the dirt path the entire time to complete the objective, although I did drift around a corner or two. Make sure that if you drift, you don’t stray too far from the path or you’ll fail the objective. Ninja Gaiden was my rite of passage at an early age. After finally beating that game (and narrowly dodging carpal tunnel) I decided to write about my gaming exploits. These days I enjoy roguelikes and anything Pokemon but I'll always dust off Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country and StarFox 64 from time to time to bask in their glory.
