You’ve got to ‘show some fire’ to make the most of the Capitão R6 operator in Rainbow Six Mobile. Utilize your drones to identify where anchor defenders are sitting. Then fire off your fire bolts into smaller room areas that include defenders. The restricted space in smaller rooms will make it harder for the defenders to evade the fire spread.

When you know there’s an enemy sitting around a corner or behind some cover playing for time, which prevents a direct horizontal line of sight, try shooting a fire bolt in their approximate direction (to the left or right). The spread of the fire will probably force the defender to move away from the corner or cover position. In the best-case scenario, you might secure a kill against a defender who gets set ablaze.

Another good way to utilize Capitão’s fire bolts is to shoot them at planted bombs. Defenders can’t defuse planted bombs engulfed in flames. Two fire bolts can prevent defenders from diffusing bombs for up to 20 seconds before their flames dissipate.

How to Counter the Capitão R6 Operator

Wamai and Jäger are the best at countering the Capitão R6 operator. Playing as Wamai will enable you to plant Mag-NET systems. Those NET systems will pull and delay tactical bots fired with Capitão’s Tactical Crossbow.

Jäger can counter the Capitão R6 operator with his Active Defence Systems. The ADS gadgets can shoot down mid-air bolt projectiles before they hit their targets. So, try placing some ADS gadgets around windows and doors within objective areas to eliminate Capitão’s fire and smoke projectiles.

Another thing to note is that Capitão is not strong in close-range gunfights. So, try to intercept him at close quarters with a more proficient close-range roaming defender like Caveira and Jäger. Such defenders can eliminate Capitão before he gets close enough to the objective area to fire his Tactical Crossbow.
