’90s kids have been feasting lately, and Fortnite isn’t letting up anytime soon. After the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles dropped into the Item Shop during Chapter 5 Season 1—bringing not only the heroes in a half-shell but also iconic characters like Shredder, Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady, Master Splinter, and April O’Neil—and with Mortal Kombat legends like Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, and Kitana joining the fray in Chapter 6 Season 2, the nostalgia train just keeps picking up speed.
Now, Fortnite is going full morphin’ time with one of its most anticipated crossovers yet. Chapter 6 Season 4, fittingly titled “Shock ’N Awesome,” launches August 7, 2025, and marks the official debut of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in the Fortnite universe. This is a collaboration of truly mighty—and, yes, powerful—proportions.
Players will be able to suit up as the Red, Black, Blue, Yellow, and Pink Rangers through an Item Shop bundle set to release in mid-August. Each skin comes with themed accessories, including a reimagined “Go Go Power Rangers” emote in Fortnite’s signature Jam Track style.
The season’s Battle Pass is set to be a dream come true for longtime Power Rangers fans. At Tier 100, players will unlock a version of the legendary Tommy Oliver, complete with both his White Ranger and Green Ranger styles—two of the most iconic suits in franchise history. Later in the season, starting around September 16, players can take on special quests to unlock the equally legendary Dino Megazord outfit.
While it’s still unclear whether the Dragonzord—piloted by the Green Ranger—will make an appearance as a standalone skin or be incorporated somehow into the Megazord, the possibility alone is enough to spark excitement. We can practically hear the sound of Tommy’s Dragon Dagger flute on loop already.
In true Power Rangers fashion, Epic Games debuted the crossover with a live-action tokusatsu-style trailer, complete with VHS filters, classic suit action, and even scenes filmed in a location reminiscent of the original show’s California quarry.
As if a Fortnite Power Rangers collab wasn’t exciting enough on its own, Epic has cleverly woven the Rangers’ arrival into Chapter 6 Season 4’s bug invasion theme. Their presence feels right at home amidst the chaos, bringing their signature teamwork and firepower to the front lines. Joining them are new Halo-inspired skins featuring female Spartans, reinforcing the resistance alongside Fortnite staples like Peely, Battlehawk, and Jonesy. With heroes from across universes joining forces, the battle against the alien threat is shaping up to be one of Fortnite’s most wildly fun and action-packed showdowns yet.
The Fortnite Power Rangers collaboration is finally here and it’s Morphin’ time in Chapter 6, Season 4. Grab your dinosaur Morpher of choice and your battle rifles on August 7th.
