8 Mobile Rainbow Six Tips for Attackers

Rainbow Six Mobile pretty much delivers the same level of tactical intensity as its PC counterpart. When attacking in Rainbow Six Mobile, players must be careful of defensive traps to kill all opponents or plant a defuser within a few minutes. Thus, defenders have the advantage of dictating the pace and setting environmental hazards for attackers to stumble on. Here are some tips for Mobile Rainbow Six for more efficient attacking play.

Get Breaching

Defenders typically place their gadget traps around doors and windows from which they expect attackers to approach. The best way to bypass such traps is to blow holes through reinforced and non-reinforced walls. Thermite and Hibana are two of the best attacking operators in the Mobile Rainbow Six game precisely because they’re hard-breachers who blow through reinforced walls to create new openings and angles for teams to attack through.

An attacking team with a hard breacher has greater flexibility. So, I recommend playing as the Hibana and Thermite attacking operators when other teammates haven’t selected one of them. Then, get breaching by blowing through one or two reinforced walls.

Play the Smoke Trick With Glaz

Glaz has a unique thermal flip scope that enables him to see highlighted enemies through smoke clouds. So, try playing the smoke trick to kill more enemies when playing as Glaz. Chuck a smoke grenade through doors and windows into rooms where you know enemies are lurking. Then, switch to your thermal flip scope to pick off enemies you can see moving behind a smoke cloud.

Place Surviving Prep Drones Somewhere Useful

Locating the objective site is the most important thing during the prep drone phase. When your team has done that, don’t waste drones by riding them into objective rooms to ping enemies. Chances are, the enemies will see your prep drone and shoot it down. Instead, try to place your prep drone in and around entry points where enemies won’t notice it. Then you can utilize prep drones during rounds for additional reconnaissance.

Don’t Waste Too Much Time

Time is not on the side of attacking teams until they plant defusers. Avoid wasting too much time sitting around on roofs trying to figure out the best route of attack. Match rounds last about three minutes, and you can probably afford to spend about a minute or so scouting and approaching the bomb site. Make sure you have at least one minute on the clock for clearing a site and executing the plant.

Drone in Teammates

Drones can be invaluable for highlighting the positions of defenders. You can drone in teammates when you’re still in rounds, but don’t forget to flick through those cameras when eliminated. The best thing you can do when eliminated is to locate enemies for teammates with available cameras. Doing this makes it easier and quicker for teammates to find and eliminate remaining hostiles.

Cover Defuser Planters

When you’ve infiltrated an objective area, a teammate in your team can plant the defuser. However, players are always vulnerable to potential enemy attacks when planting. To reduce this vulnerability, cover teammates planting defusers by keeping an eye out for potential enemies around them. If a defender tries to kill the defuser when planting, you can then shoot them down before they get a chance.

Another way you can cover teammates planting defusers is to chuck smoke grenades. Thermite, Dokkaebi, and Glaz are three attacking operators who have smokes. Throwing smoke grenades around teammates planting defusers will make it much harder for defenders to see them.

Place Claymores Around Planted Defusers

Twitch and Thatcher are two attacking operators in the mobile Rainbow Six game with claymores. Claymores are basically explosive devices you can place on the ground, rather like mines. One good way to utilize claymores is to place them around planted defusers in doorways or around tight corridors. Panicked defenders might then run into your claymore traps when rushing towards defusers. Even if they notice the claymores, blasting the traps away will at least slow them down.

Don’t Bottleneck Attacks

Attacks can often fail when bottlenecked around single windows or doorways. It’s somewhat harder for defenders to defend against attacks from multiple directions. If you see three or more of your teammates attacking the same entry point, consider switching position to find another way in. Then you can open fire on defenders from alternative directions to your teammates, which is otherwise called a flanking attack. Sneaking around the side or back of an enemy team will enable you to bypass defenders or at least divide their attention.

You can get ahead of the mobile Rainbow Six game with those attacking tips above. Efficient attacking requires calculated coordination over mindless rushing. Avoid bottlenecks, open up the map by breaching, support teammates with active intel, utilize smokes and claymores, and always cover defuser planters to win more attacking rounds.
