A Guide to the Twitch R6 Operator in Rainbow Six Mobile

Twitch is an anti-gadget-attacking operator in Rainbow Six Mobile. This is an operator who is ideal for reconnaissance and eliminating defensive traps that get in the way of attackers. The Twitch R6 operator is one of the better support operators in the game for utility denial and gathering enemy position intel.

Primary Weapon

The primary weapon for the Twitch R6 operator is the F2 Assault Rifle. This gun is most notable for its blistering fire rate, which can annihilate defenders in close-to-medium-range gunfights. However, the gun also has a tricky vertical recoil pattern to get to grips with, which can reduce shot accuracy. I recommend attaching a Vertical Grip and Flash Hider to the F2 Assault Rifle to reduce its bullet and vertical spread.

Secondary Weapon

The Twitch R6 operator is equipped with a P9 pistol. That’s a reliable, semi-automatic pistol with a good amount of ammunition and manageable recoil. This gun can come in handy for finishing off defenders or shooting down remaining enemy traps. You can equip a Suppressor to reduce the P9’s gunshot noise or a Muzzle Brake to eliminate this pistol’s vertical kick.

Twitch’s Shock Drones

The special gadget for the Twitch R6 operator is the Shock Drone. Twitch comes equipped with two Shock Drones with which she can zap away six or seven enemy gadgets combined. Each of those drones has three laser shots for zapping away planted gadgets. Each shot needs a few seconds to recharge.

Note that Twitch’s Shock Drones are primarily for eliminating electronic gadgets and intel gathering. They don’t eliminate barbed wire, deployable shields, or Frost’s Welcome Mats. So, don’t waste your Shock Drone zaps on non-electronic devices.

You can also utilize her Shock Drones for highlighting enemy positions, much the same as more standard scout drones. They are a little larger than standard drones, which makes them slightly easier to hit and destroy. Her Shock Drones can also jump in much the same way as standard attacker drones.

Twitch’s Claymores

The Twitch R6 operator is equipped with Claymores. A Claymore is a secondary attacking gadget with three laser tripwires. Crossing the beams of a Claymore detonates its explosive mine.

Twitch’s Stats

The stats for the Twitch R6 operator highlight that she has reasonable speed and armor. However, her shooting range is rather limited. Thus, she’s an attacking operator who’s better at engaging enemies at close quarters rather than further away. These are the stats for the Twitch R6 operator:

  • Difficulty: 1/3 (one is best)
  • Range: 2/5
  • Speed: 2/3
  • Armor: 2/3

Tips for Playing as the Twitch R6 Operator

As Twitch is a utility denial operator, you should prioritize eliminating electronic defender gadgetry for the first minute of a round. To be better prepared, try to find and identify the most essential gadgetry to destroy within an objective area during the prep phase of rounds. You’ll find the gadgets faster when you know where to look for them.

The most essential gadgets to eliminate for your teammates are Kapkan’s Entry Denial Devices, Bandit’s Shock Wire, and Jäger’s ADS. It’s especially important to clear Shock Wire gadgets to enable your hard-breacher teammates to blow through reinforced walls with Thermite and Hibana. So, try to focus on destroying those gadgets over others.

However, it’s important to destroy Mute’s Signal Disruptors to ensure they don’t jam your Shock Drones. You can eliminate Signal Disruptors with Shock Drones from a distance. So, be careful of moving your Shock Drones too close to Signal Disruptors.

Never forget that Twitch is very vulnerable to enemy attacks when you’re moving her Shock Drones. So, you must roll out Shock Drones from safe positions. The only completely safe spot to roll out a Shock Drone is from starting positions. I recommend staying back around starting positions, preferably behind some form of object, for utilizing Shock Drones.

Try to keep your Shock Drones out of enemy sight to maximize their effectiveness. Avoid riding your drones through well-guarded doors where enemies will probably shoot them down. Look for alternative ways in when there are numerous defenders around one entry point. Try to use the small drone holes for infiltrating objective areas when you can.

Don’t forget that Twitch is also a good operator for reconnaissance. When you’ve eliminated gadgets, try scanning some enemies to highlight them for your teammates. Move your Shock Drone camera to a good position before exiting so your teammates can utilize it thereafter.

Also, remember that time is of the essence when playing as the Twitch R6 operator. If you spend too much time with your Scout Drone, you might have inadequate time to finish off remaining enemies. So, make sure you leave yourself with at least a minute and a half for killing opponents.

How to Counter the Twitch R6 Operator

Mute is the best Rainbow Six Mobile operator for countering Twitch’s Shock Drones. However, his Signal Disruptors aren’t foolproof gadgets for countering Twitch because her Shock Drones can destroy them from a distance. When playing as Mute, try to place your Signal Disruptors in awkward positions for Shock Drones to see them, such as walls alongside doors. Doing that can make it somewhat harder for Twitch to destroy them.

Aside from that, the best way to counter the Shock Drones is to stay alert, listen, and keep an eye out for them. If you hear a Shock Drone, look toward the ground to spot it. Then make sure you blow all Shock Drones away when you see them.

The Twitch R6 operator can be a valuable one to have for attacking teams when you utilize her Shock Drones to good effect. With that tool up your sleeve, you can wreak havoc within objective areas by destroying defender gadgets and highlighting enemy positions. She’s one of the best operators in Rainbow Six Mobile for infiltrating objective areas from a safe distance.
