Hibana is one of the attacking operators in Rainbow Six Mobile. She is an operator with significant expertise in paramilitary infiltration techniques. The Hibana R6 operator is a hard breacher, which means she can blow through reinforced hatches and roles. Her primary role in Rainbow Six Mobile teams is to create new openings for attackers to exploit. Playing as Hibana will enable you to open up Rainbow Six Mobile maps in ways you can’t with most other operators.
Primary Weapon
The Hibana R6 operator comes equipped with the TYPE-89 assault rifle. Her assault rifle can be a real powerhouse of a gun in mid to long-range gunfights with its high damage and fast fire rate. It is a manageable assault run with relatively low recoil, especially with Flash Hider and Vertical Grip attachments. However, that gun also has a restrictive ammunition magazines.

Secondary Weapon
Hibana’s secondary weapon is the 93R pistol. That gun is mostly notable for its 3-round burst firing mechanism. The 93R can shred enemies at close quarters, but its high recoil undermines shot accuracy for medium to long-range engagements.

Hibana’s X-Kairos Gadget
X-Kairos is Hibana’s signature launcher for blowing through walls. This is a specialized weapon with which the Hibana R6 operator can fire four remotely detonated explosive pellets. Its pellets stick to reinforced and soft surfaces. The X-Kairos launcher is flexible because you can fire it from a distance beyond defensive sightlines and traps.

Hibana’s Flashbangs
Flashbangs are the secondary gadget for the Hibana R6 operator in Rainbow Six Mobile. These flash grenades temporarily blind nearby defenders when thrown. The brief five-second disorientation they inflict on opponents can provide short opportunities for attackers to push into rooms and kill defenders.
Hibana’s Stats
Hibana is a high-speed but low-armored operator to play as. Her range is relatively limited to mid-distance gunfights. In terms of ease of use, she’s not the most ideal operator for beginners because her X-Kairos pellets require more precise placement, and less armor makes it easier for opponents to kill her. These are the stats for the Hibana R6 operator:
- Difficulty: 2/3
- Range: 2/5
- Speed: 3/3
- Armor: 1/3

Tips for Playing as the R6 Hibana Operator
As the Hibana R6 operator is a hard breacher, you should always try to breach one or two reinforced walls in the first minutes of rounds with her. First, find reinforced walls around the objective areas. Then fire a couple of pellets, one above the other, at a reinforced wall that will create a new attacking opening to an objective area. Note that two is always the most optimal number of pellets to fire, as one will never create a big enough hole to walk through.
As Hibana only has four pellets, save them for reinforced walls or armored barricades. Don’t waste pellets on soft wooden barricades or walls that other players can smash through. You can shoot through all wooden barricades with Hibana’s standard weaponry.

The X-Kairos launcher is a potent weapon for destroying Mira’s Black Mirror. Try shooting one or two pellets around a black mirror to destroy it and open up a larger line of sight to fire through. However, you must be quick and careful when firing X-Kairos launcher pellets directly ahead of a Black Mirror.
The Hibana R6 operator is also effective at countering Smoke’s Deployable Shield. Try firing an X-Kairos pellet at a Deployable Shield obstacle to an entrance. Then you can detonate the pellet to destroy Smoke’s shield and eliminate his cover.
When you’ve breached a reinforced wall with Hibana, you can go for the kill. Hibana’s flashbangs can come in handy for eliminating opponents. If you know a defender is just around a corner or in a room, try chucking a utility grenade through a door, window, or other opening to stun (blind) the player. Then push quickly to go for the kill when the player is stunned.

How to Counter Hibana
The best way to counter the Hibana R6 operator is to play as Bandit. Place Bandit’s batteries alongside reinforced walls around an objective area to electrify them. With his batteries, you can electrify four reinforced wall areas to prevent Hibana and other hard breachers from blowing through them.
Alternatively, you can counter the Hibana R6 operator with Mute. Mute’s signal jammers jam the detonation of X-Kairos pellets. So, try placing his signal jammers alongside reinforced walls to protect them from hard breachers.
Jäger also offers a soft counter to Hibana’s X-Kairos pellets with his Active Defense System. The ADS zaps X-Kairos projectiles much the same as grenades. Place ADS gadgets alongside door or window walls through which Hibana might fire at breached walls.
Overall, the Hibana R6 operator is the most versatile in Rainbow Six Mobile for movement flexibility. The unmatched versatility of her X-Kairos launcher makes Hibana one of the most important attacking operators because she can create new sightlines and openings for her teams to exploit. Such openings can enable teams to bypass and destroy defensive gadgets typically placed around preset doors and windows, which makes it easier to infiltrate objective areas. Although not the most beginner-friendly operator to get to grips with, she’s among the most essential attackers because of her heavy breaching.
