A Guide to the Fuze R6 Operator in Rainbow Six Mobile

Fuze is an attacking operator in Rainbow Six who can blow away opponents. The Chain Reaction season update added the Fuze R6 to Rainbow Six Mobile, who can blow away defender positions. This is an operator is equipped with explosive gear for winning matches. So, let’s have a closer look at Fuze’s loadout below.

Primary Weapon

The Fuze R6 operator is equipped with an AK-12 Assault Rifle. That’s a potent weapon with a formidable fire rate with high damage per bullet. However, this is a gun with heavy vertical recoil, which can undermine shooting accuracy. I recommend optimizing the AK-12 by adding a Flash Handler and Vertical Grip to reduce vertical recoil.

Secondary Weapon

The PMM is the secondary weapon for the Fuze R6 operator. That’s a semi-automatic handgun with high accuracy and rapid reload. This gun inflicts high base damage for a standard pistol. However, the PMM’s ammunition storage is limited, which restricts usage.

Fuze’s Cluster Charge

Fuze’s APM-6 Matryoshka Cluster Charge is his unique gadget that blows out five small, bouncing grenades. To deploy the Cluster Charge, you must first place it on soft, breakable, or reinforced surfaces. Then you can activate the Cluster Charge with remote detonation.

The Cluster Charge is a weapon you can rack up kills with. However, the true utility of this gadget extends beyond eliminations and assists. This is a gadget with which you can usually clear and blow up multiple enemy traps placed around doors, windows, and walls. Utilizing the Cluster Charge can also force camping defenders out into more open areas for your teammates to eliminate.

Fuze’s Breach Charge

The Fuze R6 operator has a Breach Charge for a secondary gadget, which is a remotely operated explosive device. He carries three Breach Charges that you can place on soft wall surfaces. Detonating a Breach Charge blows holes in wooden soft walls for players to walk through.

Fuze’s Statistics

Fuze’s stats show he’s a well-armored attacking operator who lacks speed. He’s the kind of attacker who operates more efficiently behind front lines as a heavy-hitter backup. These are the statistics for the Fuze R6 operator:

  • Difficulty: 1/3
  • Range: 3/5
  • Speed: 1/3
  • Armor: 3/3

Tips For Playing as the Fuze R6 Operator

First, try to fully deploy all your Cluster Charges for rounds when playing as the Fuze R6 operator. So, try to identify good points of Cluster Charge attacks with your drone cameras during the prep phase of rounds. I recommend placing Cluster Charges on reinforced walls when possible, rather than barricaded doors and windows through which enemies can attack.

However, the best way to utilize the Fuze R6 operator is to play vertically. This means placing your Cluster Charges on soft hatches directly above objective areas. You can also place your Cluster Charges on soft ceilings above objective areas. Then you can rain down bouncing grenades on defenders below.

To play vertically, you need to have more thorough map knowledge of where the essential soft hatches are. You can freely explore maps by selecting them via the Practice Mode menu. So, have a good look around the maps to find the best soft-hatch areas directly above objective areas.

Try not to utilize all your Cluster Charges in the same place, which makes your attacks more predictable for enemies to dodge. When you’ve utilized one or two Cluster Charges from a location, try switching to another. Doing that will enable you to destroy more defensive traps and make it harder for enemies to anticipate your Cluster Charge attacks.

Don’t forget that Fuze is also a soft breacher with his three Breach Charges. Place your Breach Charges on soft walls around objective areas to create openings for yourself and teammates to exploit. You can also blow through non-reinforced ceiling hatches to attack from above with your gun.

How to Counter the Fuze R6 Operator

Jäger is one of the best operators for countering Fuze’s Cluster Charges. Place his Active Defense System gadgets around doors and reinforced walls in objective areas. Those ADS gadgets will reduce the impact of Fuze’s Cluster Charge attacks by destroying some of the Cluster Charge grenades.

Bandit’s Shock Wire gadgets can come in handy for countering the Fuze R6 operator. Place his Shock Wire gadgets along reinforced walls around objective areas on which Fuze can place his Cluster Charges. Doing that will block Fuze from placing Cluster Charges on the walls by electrifying them.

Mute is another operator with whom you can directly counter Fuze’s Cluster Charges. His Signal Jammers can prevent Fuze from remotely detonating Cluster Charges. So, try placing his Signal Jammers along reinforced walls and barricaded doors and windows.

Overall, the Fuze R6 operator is among the most potent attackers in Rainbow Six Mobile. He is an operator with whom it’s relatively straightforward to destroy multiple defensive traps, making it easier for attacking teams to penetrate objective areas. Plus, you can also inflict damage on defenders to rack up additional kills with Fuzer’s Cluster Charges.
